Evolution CV connects you, the company hires
We review company accounts before they publish and take down misleading job posts, but we cannot control everything that happens outside the platform. Each company is responsible for its job post and for what it offers. These tips help you stay safe.
Warning signs
They ask you for money to apply, for training, a uniform, paperwork or to “hold” the position. A real job is never paid for.
They ask for your card details, passwords, the code you receive by text, or to install an app to “verify” you.
The pay is far above normal for the job, they rush you to decide, or the company will not give its name or address.
They want to meet at night, in a private home or somewhere that does not match the job post.
Before the interview
Look the company up online and check its references on Evolution CV. Tell someone you trust where you are going and when, and prefer daytime interviews at the company or in a public place. Your contact details are not shown until the interview is agreed.
If something is wrong
Do not go ahead, and let us know through the site's contact channels with the name of the job post or company. If you were asked for money or were scammed, also report it to the police or the courts.
If you are a company
Before hiring, verify the person's identity and ask for references. Only ask for the details the hiring process needs, and register the employment relationship as the law requires.
